MARDI GRAS PASTA DINNER
Mark your calendar for Saturday March 1, 2025 for our annual Mardi Gras Pasta dinner. This Mardi Gras themed event is fun for the whole family and includes raffle items, a silent auction, bake sale, entertainment throughout the day and, of course, the best pasta and meatballs in Columbus!
Many volunteers are needed for this, our largest fundraiser for SFA!
We also need raffle items and table sponsors.

LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS
Each Monday evening during Lent, we have a time of fellowship with delicious homemade soups, breads, and a short Lenten educational program. During the final week, we celebrate Stations of the Cross as we prepare ourselves for Holy Week.CRAFT & COLLECTIBLES FAIRThis event takes place twice a year.
In 2025 it occurs on May 4th and November 2nd.
The Craft and Collectibles Fair is free to participants, and all vendors donate 10% of their profits to the St. Francis Center in McArthur, Ohio.
We are always looking for new vendors to join our fair!

MAY CROWNINGOur May crowning takes place in the side garden
after the 11:30 Mass on Mother's Day.
ANNUAL YARD SALEThis church fundraising event takes place on the first Saturday in June in conjunction with the Short North Civic Association Neighborhood Yard Sale.
Parishioners donate items to the church to sell. A great way to clean out your clutter and support your local parish.
ST. FRANCIS ANNUAL PET BLESSINGOur pet blessing takes place on the first Saturday in October. Parishioners and community members are invited to bring their pets for a special blessing. In years past, we have had the Columbus Police Mounted Unit here for blessings, as well as cats, dogs, rabbits, and other animals!
PARISH POTLUCK PICNIC
This event is held on the first Sunday in October
in conjunction with the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
We celebrate our Patronal Feast Day with our regular Masses, followed by our Potluck Picnic in the Parish Hall after the 11:30 Mass.
This is a great way to meet all of your fellow parishioners.
Great food and wonderful fellowship!
WHITE ELEPHANT EPIPHANY PARTY
Taking place the Saturday before Epiphany every year, this event is a blast! The parish provides a main dish and drinks. Attendees bring desserts and side dishes AND a fun, quirky, odd wrapped gift for the White Elephant gift exchange. Laughs abounds as parishioners try to 'trade up' to a better gift! -
